painting - How to I make this more realistic/add more depth

I realize i need to add more value to it, however, I'm not sure where to add it, and in which direction to work in. How do I bring this to the "Next level"?

Ok, after taking the advice given to me I made an Updated version, it still needs some lighting tweaks, and is not yet finished;
